In 2018 we partnered with Sonos to celebrate women in music on International Women’s Day with a series of panels in London and New York. What’s more, as part of this partnership all guest speakers from the two events had the opportunity to become mentors in our she.grows mentoring scheme.

On International Women's Day, the Smirnoff Sound Collective launched their "Equalizing Music" campaign with a pledge to double female headliners by 2020. shesaid.so is proud to support Smirnoff in this ambition and we are working together to increase representation of women across all elements of nightlife culture to drive meaningful and lasting change. To achieve that, we took over the legendary fabric club for 2 days to host a series of workshops and panels that gave expert guidance on promoting, DJing and running a record label to young women in London looking to advance themselves in the music industry.

In 2017 we went to Austin to host a panel and a breakfast meetup at SXSW. We also partnered with Native Instruments to talk about health versus hedonism during Amsterdam Dance Event, and sealed an exclusive partnership with event ticketing platform Guests Now.

International Music Summit is one of our favorite conferences in electronic music. 2016 marks the year we started our partnership that continues to exist to the present moment. At IMS we are given the stage to curate panels that inspire us and empower women in electronic music worldwide. In addition, every year the winner of the IMS Visionaries contest ends up getting mentored by shesaid.so founder, Andreea Magdalina.

We hosted our very first event at Shoreditch House in October 2014 and continued our partnership throughout 2015 with monthly events that included panels, dinners and birthday parties.
