About The Role

We are seeking highly organised and motivated Agents to join both our live touring & electronic department to work across and add to our diverse and world-renowned artist roster. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for music, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record in artist representation and career development. As a Music Agent, you will be responsible for discovering new talent, negotiating contracts, and securing opportunities for your roster of artists to grow and succeed in the music industry.

Music Industry experience is essential, but we understand this is a difficult industry to grow in, we are committed to supporting equality within the music industry and believe in equal chance for everyone, we would like to hear from anyone who feels with the right support they can flourish. It is not essential to bring a personal roster to the agency but would be welcomed.

Role will include but not limited to:

  • Artist Representation: Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for a roster of artists, providing strategic guidance and support to further their careers.

  • Talent Scouting: Continuously seek out new and emerging talent by attending live performances, reviewing demos, and networking within the music community.

  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, including record deals, publishing agreements, licensing agreements, and performance contracts, ensuring the best possible terms for your artists.

  • Career Development: Develop and implement strategic career plans for each artist, including album releases, tour schedules, promotional activities, and branding opportunities.

  • Networking: Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, including record labels, publishers, promoters, venue owners, and media outlets, to create opportunities for your artists.

  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of your artists' careers, including budgeting, and ensuring timely payment of fees and royalties.

  • Marketing and Promotion: Work closely with marketing and publicity teams to develop and execute effective promotional campaigns for your artists, utilizing traditional and digital channels to maximize exposure.

  • Touring and Live Performance: Facilitate the booking of tour dates, festivals and live performances for artists within the UK and internationally, including negotiating performance agreements, securing venues, and managing tour budgets. Coordinating with promoters, venue owners, and event organizers to schedule tour dates that align with the artists' goals and maximize their exposure and revenue potential. 

  • Industry Trends: Stay informed about current trends and developments in the music industry, including streaming platforms, social media, and emerging technologies, to adapt strategies and capitalize on opportunities for your artists.

  • Business acumen and industry expertise to navigate the complexities of the music business.

  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills to advocate for artists and secure favorable deals.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and artists alike.

  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills to handle various challenges that may arise.

  • IT competence, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets.

  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to in-house digital systems efficiently.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Effective organization and prioritization skills to handle competing demands and deadlines.

  • Flexibility to work outside of standard hours and travel as necessary for events.

  • Strong work ethic and resilience to thrive under pressure and long hours.

  • Exceptional organizational and planning abilities, particularly in dynamic and fast-paced settings.

  • Confidence and a good sense of humor to navigate the demands of the music industry with ease.
