A devoted music enthusiast, Rufy Anam Ghazi is currently serving the position of Programming and Artist Management at Vh1 India in Mumbai. Vh1 is India’s only 24-hour International entertainment channel, catering to the youth in India, providing viewers with their daily dose of International music, Awards, Pop culture and Lifestyle.

Originally from an Engineering background with a Master’s degree, she quit her job of 3 years to follow her passion and work in the music industry. She has been working and vigorously involved in the indie music scene since the time she was doing her corporate job. She has curated and programmed various music events and worked as a manager for one of the most successful indie musicians from India, Monica Dogra.

Her passion and dedication towards music has been her biggest motivation to work in this field and provide support to the community and artists. She excels at music label liaisoning; events planning and programming; artist management / artist relations for on-air and on-ground events; channel strategy planning; music programming and curation for the channel.

She hopes to pursue her career in the music industry to gain experience with curation, management, labels, programming, consultancy, and also to promote the local talent & community.
