Christine Osazuwa: Strategy Director / Founder

I’ve spent most of the pandemic doing everything I can to give back to others. For over a year, I've had 2 meetings a week with anyone that asks to have an informational chat with me. In addition, I post weekly job listing summaries of media, music & tech roles. Most importantly, I ran a free three day conference/hackathon called Measure of Music where dozens of people created a music data projects presented to over 1000 people with speakers, mentors & judges from Spotify, Genius, TikTok, Warner Music Group and more. I'm most proud that the speakers and project participants were both majority minority in both gender & race. Since the first event took place in Feb 2021, those that participated have reached out to me to let me know about new roles they've gotten at companies such as TikTok, Soundcloud, Sony, and more. As a Black woman in the industry, it's incredibly important for me to give back to others and it's been excellent to see my representation in the industry has helped & motivated others.” - Christine Osazuwa

Franscesca Wells: Co Founder, Station Manager & Talent Manager

“I am the co founder of foundation.fm, the leading platform championing the hottest emerging female talent in the UK: an online community radio station, talent management agency and record label. I have been part of a movement in the underground music scene. With my peers, I harness the creativity of myself and others, giving us the green light to create what hasn't been before - from starting foundation.fm off the back of my redundancy at Radar Radio, to curating all female line ups at festivals including Wireless, Lovebox and All Points East and now launching our record label, event and talent management arms. I believe in the power of community and conversation and will continue to use radio as a tool to help all women, queer and non binary folk into the music industry.”- Francesca Wells
