Fieldworks
The Creative Immersion - Music Production & Filmmaking Course

Fieldworks, India's first artist-led digital arts education platform, is launching The Creative Immersion, a launchpad for beginners introducing foundational pillars of music production, filmmaking and video editing in practical, applicable ways. The 30-hour online programme runs over three months with twice-weekly 75-minute sessions and monthly one-on-one check-ins. Participants learn music production fundamentals including Ableton Live, sampling and synthesis, filmmaking basics including scriptwriting and colour grading, and critical listening skills. The course also includes residency preparation, project brief creation and pre-production guidance. This is an excellent opportunity for beginners to build industry-relevant skills from experienced educators.

Boudica Label - Demo Submission Guidelines

Boudica, a label supporting FLINTA+ and LGBTQIA+ producers, has relaunched and is accepting demos from amazing producers worldwide. To ensure your demo gets the attention it deserves, the label has compiled essential submission tips and guidelines covering best practices for submitting music to labels. Follow these steps when submitting to Boudica or other labels, though be sure to read each label's individual guidelines as requirements vary. This is an excellent opportunity for underrepresented producers to submit music to a label actively championing diverse voices in electronic music.

Good Growth Hub
STEP 14 - 12-Month Paid Traineeships in Creative & Cultural Sectors

STEP 14 returns with various junior and entry-level roles across the creative and cultural industries, designed for young East Londoners aged 18–30 to land their first role in the sector. Unlike a standard entry-level position, participants will be matched with committed local employers, paid a London Living Wage or above, and supported throughout a 12-month training programme that includes monthly professional development workshops, personal career coaching, specialist employment workshops and industry networking. You'll develop a range of skills and creative approaches alongside a cohort of people with similar passions, giving you a structured pathway into a sustainable creative career.

Pioneer Works
2027 Pioneer Works Artist Residency

Pioneer Works welcomes emerging artists and musicians whose work is technically skilled, genre-defying and visionary, including those working outside conventional models and norms in their field. Each September, residents are selected through an open call reviewed by a jury of experts and alumni residents. All residents gain access to Pioneer Works' facilities and unique culture, join the ever-growing alumni network and are tapped for future teaching, partnerships and public programmes. Please note that Pioneer Works is a dynamic venue hosting 3–4 events per week in spring and fall, which may interrupt studio time. Visual Arts studios are public-facing with glass walls, and open studios during Second Sundays require 2–3 hours of public engagement. The Taipei Music Center invites music industry professionals to participate in the 2026 TMEX Biz-Matching Program during the Taipei Music Expo in August. This highly curated platform brings together global music industry professionals for high-impact, one-on-one meetings and unparalleled networking opportunities. First Peoples Fund
Native Performing Arts Fellowship

The First Peoples Fund Native Performing Arts Fellowship supports emerging and established Native performing artists to develop and enhance their skills and knowledge of their craft through grants of up to $10,000. Applicants should create a proposal centred around artistic career goals, and the fellowship includes professional development opportunities such as the Performing Arts Native Arts Professional Development programme, guidance from industry professionals, and access to FPF's annual multi-day fellowship convening where fellows can connect with artists across multiple mediums. This is a comprehensive opportunity for Native performing artists in theatre, dance, music and other disciplines to receive both financial support and meaningful professional development tailored to their needs.

Generator - Get To Know BBC Introducing Workshop

Join BBC Introducing North East presenter Shakk for an essential workshop designed to help emerging artists understand how BBC Introducing works and how to make the most of the opportunities it offers. Whether you're preparing to release your first tracks or looking to grow your audience, this session will demystify the BBC Introducing process, show you how to use the uploader effectively, connect with local BBC Introducing teams and increase your chances of securing airplay and wider exposure. The workshop is part of the Create Talent programme and is open to early-career artists and emerging musicians aged 18+. No previous industry experience is required.

Atheras: Nicosia Ludic Lab for Composers of New Works in Toyful Music Festival 2026 (Cyprus)

Atheras Peoples & Cultures invites composers and performer-researchers to apply for the Nicosia Ludic Lab, a 31-day international residency dedicated to exploring “play” as a compositional and performative methodology in contemporary music. Building on the artistic vision of the Toyful Music Festival, the residency creates a focused environment where experimentation, precision, and imagination coexist, redefining how music is conceived, structured, and performed.

Sony Music UK Internship Programme 2027 - Panel & Networking Event

Join Sony Music UK and Brighter Sounds for an exclusive panel and networking event on 15 July designed to give insider insight into the 2027 Sony Music UK Internship Programme. Hear directly from current interns and Sony Music hiring managers about working at one of the UK's leading music companies, learn how the application process works and discover how to make your application stand out. The event covers career paths in marketing, digital, finance, promotions, visual creative, audience development, artist relations and other areas of the business. Sonic Futures / The Freelancer Network
Sonic Futures: Freelancers 101 Workshop Series

Sonic Futures, in collaboration with Tees Valley Creates, is hosting a two-day workshop series designed to help artists, creatives and industry professionals build successful and sustainable freelance careers. Taking place 16-17 July at The Auxiliary in Middlesbrough, the practical sessions will cover developing your brand, growing your profile, managing finances and the business side of self-employment. Led by Emily Jones, the programme combines hands-on workshops with expert guidance and is open to musicians, artists, creative freelancers, producers, promoters, managers and anyone building a self-employed career in the creative industries. You can register for either day independently, and all sessions are free.

The Radically Relational Futures Fellowship - Open Call

The Radically Relational Futures Fellowship invites young people aged 18-29 to explore futures in which wellbeing is woven through relationships among humans, nature, technology and the Earth, turning bold ideas into creative works through imagination and art. The fellowship is open to Indigenous young people, women in music studies or careers, immigrant queer youth, and youth with lived experience of mental health challenges. Selected fellows will take part in seven weekly Creative Labs (2.5 hours each) in podcasting, music, body mapping or theatre, receive a $1,000 honorarium, and earn a Certificate of Completion from the Youth Mental Health Collective Lab at McGill University. Activities begin in Fall 2026 and run for 32-48 hours across the year, taking place online and at McGill or the Douglas Research Centre.

Queer Capita Music Industry Mentorship Program

Queer Capita is launching its first-ever mentorship program for NYC music industry professionals with under ten years of experience, in partnership with Symphonic Distro. The four-month program pairs early- to mid-career LGBTQ+ and allied professionals with experienced music industry executives for knowledge transfer and meaningful relationship building. Mentorship pairs meet in person four times (once per month) to discuss mentees' professional growth and trajectory, with all mentees and mentors gathering for a celebratory luncheon in NYC on 7 November 2026. The program is completely free and open to music industry professionals in the NYC area.

Dork x M For Montréal - UK Artist Showcase

Dork is teaming up with M For Montréal, one of Canada's most attended major professional music industry events with over 500 delegates from 20 countries, to bring UK artists to the stellar Canadian showcase festival this November. The partnership, supported by PRS Foundation and the Northern Music Export Office, will see a curated three-night takeover at Bar Lesco in the heart of Montréal. Funding will be available for selected artists to support travel and participation. This is a rare opportunity for emerging UK acts to gain international exposure and connect with industry professionals across North America on a major showcase platform.

Arts Council England
Creative Foundations Fund (CFF) - Strand 2

Arts Council England's Creative Foundations Fund is an open-access capital fund supporting creative and cultural organisations in England in revitalising, restoring, retrofitting or renewing cultural assets. Strand 2 Expressions of Interest are now open, offering grants from £1 million to £10 million to help organisations improve buildings and equipment to strengthen economic sustainability. Applications for Strand 1 (£100,000–£1 million) will open on 13 July. The fund supports organisations in taking creative approaches to current buildings to deliver outcomes such as reducing operating costs and increasing revenue streams, with investment being business-critical to delivering cultural activity and sustaining economic sustainability.

The Oram Awards
The Oram Awards 2026 - Women & Gender-Diverse Sound Artists

The Oram Awards celebrate women, trans, non-binary and gender-diverse artists experimenting with sound, music and technology across the UK. Applications are welcome from performers, composers, engineers and producers aged 18+ living in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, with no requirement for a music degree or prior fame. Five artists will be selected (two from England, one from Scotland, one from Wales, one from Northern Ireland) to each receive £1,500 in unrestricted funds, bespoke mentorship and ongoing support from the Oram Awards team. The awards particularly welcome applications from disabled, Global Majority, LGBTQIA+, and working-class artists. Applications in Welsh are welcome with translator support provided.

Zennor Sounds
The Mixing Residency with Sam Okell - Cornwall, October 2026

A week-long residential mixing workshop led by Sam Okell at his purpose-built Dolby Atmos studio at Zennor Sounds in Cornwall, with accommodation and all meals included. Sam's recent credits include mixing Daniel Pemberton's scores for Project Hail Mary and He-Man, remixing Beatles classics with Giles Martin, and Grammy-winning work across major music and film projects. The week focuses on unfinished music and learning how to hear it clearly, providing a unique opportunity to study mixing at the highest level from one of the industry's most respected professionals. This residency is ideal for producers and engineers seeking to advance their craft in an intensive, supportive environment.

Tomorrow's Warriors
Summer Runnings 2026 - Free Music Fortnight for Young Musicians

Tomorrow's Warriors' Summer Runnings returns as a fully funded two-week music programme at the Southbank Centre London from 21 July-2 August, designed for young musicians aged 11-25 at every level. The packed schedule features discovery sessions, practical workshops and jazz masterclasses led by exceptional artists including Ife Ogunjobi, Joe Armon-Jones, Moses Boyd, Kojey Radical, Zara McFarlane, Soweto Kinch and many more, plus alumni Music Leaders sessions. Registration is now open and the programme is completely free to access. This is an outstanding opportunity for young musicians to develop their craft, discover their voice and connect with industry professionals and peers.

HYPERLINK Launch Party - 23 July, Dalston

HYPERLINK, the platform linking emerging talent in female-led electronic, hyperpop and club music (formerly FEMMESTIVAL), is hosting a launch party at Ridley Road Market Bar in Dalston on 23 July from 6-9pm to celebrate the rebrand and build community among artists, DJs and fans. The event is 18+, and tickets are £5.50, with subsidised tickets available through the pay-it-forward scheme for those facing financial barriers. You can also contribute a ticket to the scheme at checkout. HYPERLINK is currently accepting applications via Instagram @hyperlinkmusic for artists to perform at future events and for DJs to submit mixes to be featured on their platform.

Amplify Your Career: Sony Early Careers Panel

Join Sony Music UK for a panel event on 23 July designed to help you learn about entry-level jobs in the entertainment industry, the skills and experience employers seek, and practical tips for launching your career. The panel covers the jobs that actually exist at entry level, the skills that get people hired, how to build networks from zero and the unwritten rules of professionalism. You'll also hear about the upcoming 2027 Sony Music Internships Scheme, with applications opening 10 August and closing 24 August. The panel is hosted by Silvia Gargiulo and includes current Sony talent acquisition team members and past interns.
