VANS CHANNELL 66 LA EDITION
In March 2022, shesaid.so LA proudly launched the shesaid.so tv series on VANS Channel 66 in celebration of Women’s History Month. This groundbreaking four-part series aired live from Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and Mexico City, spotlighting voices from across the shesaid.so global community.
The LA edition, which kicked off the series on March 3rd, featured an intimate fireside chat with artists Yuna, Baby Rose, and Fana Hues, diving deep into their creative processes, life in the studio, and the personal journeys that shaped their artistry. The episode also included a special segment with multi-hyphenate Creative Director Mahaneela, followed by a high-energy DJ set. Hosted by shesaid.so founder Andreea Magdalina, the episode explored the connection between identity, creativity, and perception—shining a light on how culture and lived experience inform artistic output.
Curated by the shesaid.so LA team, this project brought together musicians, creatives, and thought leaders in an authentic and celebratory format that reflected the spirit of our community. The LA edition of shesaid.so tv marked a powerful start to a month-long journey across cities, showcasing inspiring women and gender non-conforming individuals who are shaping the future of music and culture.

GUIDANCE, a performance by Monica Mirabile with Trinity Vikorsky
shesaid.so LA were proud to celebrate Women’s History Month and Monica Mirabile’s debut solo art show with a captivating performance movement piece featuring Trinity Vigorsky.
We were also thrilled to host a special live performance by Mia Carucci, alongside our amazing co-hosts Albert Projects and Minty Boi.
This event was the very first in a global series of 10 celebrations marking 10 years of shesaid.so. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

REDBULL RECORDS x SHESAID.SO LA - A CONVERSATION IN: JOURNALISM & MEDIA
On March 28th, 2024, shesaid.so LA partnered with Red Bull Records for an evening dedicated to exploring the shifting landscape of music journalism. Hosted at the iconic Hotel Ziggy in West Hollywood, the event brought together leading voices in music and culture writing to discuss the evolution of storytelling in an increasingly digital world.
Moderated by shesaid.so founder Andreea Magdalina, the panel featured Sandra Song, Rachel Brodsky, and Lina Abascal, who shared powerful insights on preserving the craft of journalism while adapting to the pace of modern media.
Following the panel, guests connected over drinks and danced to sets from local favorites Sadé and Chloëdees.
This gathering is part of shesaid.so’s commitment to sparking important conversations across the music industry and was a highlight in our ongoing celebration of 10 years of global community building.
