About Fragment A

Fragment A is a platform and record label based in Barcelona, dedicated to bringing visibility to rhythmic experiments within electronic music and the transdisciplinary arts of Abya Yala. Founded in 2019 by Feli Cabrera López aka Efe Ce Ele (She/They, Colombia), the platform was born alongside the Estéticas Expandidas International Festival, held in the city of Pasto (Colombia) in the same year. Initially, it was conceived as a way to compile the works of the artists participating in the festival, but over time, it was redefined as a space for publishing, editing, and managing experimental Latin American sound creation.

Since the beginning of Fragment A in 2018 we have released five compilations that gather contributions from artists across Latin America, who explore various forms of electronic production. Additionally, we have published works by artists such as Camila Rizzo (Argentina), Celeste (Colombia), Efe Ce Ele (Colombia), Piknte (Argentina), Xiwire (Venezuela), among others, totaling 97 Latin American artists.

For 2025, we are working on new releases with emerging artists, and in addition to production, we will focus on distribution and the visual development of the works. We will also organize different showcases where we will present these releases live.
