About Fragment A

Fragment A is an Abya Yalan platform and record label founded in Colombia and Argentina, currently based in Barcelona, dedicated to bringing visibility to rhythmic experiments within electronic music and the transdisciplinary arts of Abya Yala. Founded in 2018 by Feli Cabrera López (She/They, Colombia), and currently co-directed by Feli and Nico Letteri (They, Argentina), the platform was born alongside the Estéticas Expandidas International Festival, held in Pasto (Colombia) in the same year. Initially conceived as a way to compile the works of the festival’s participating artists, it has since evolved into a space for publishing, editing, and supporting experimental Latin American sound creation with an intersectional and decolonial perspective.

Since 2018, Fragment A has released five compilations featuring contributions from artists across Latin America, exploring diverse forms of electronic production. The platform has also published works by artists such as Camila Rizzo (Argentina), Celeste (Colombia), Efe Ce Ele (Colombia), Piknte (Argentina), and Xiwire (Venezuela), totaling 97 Latin American artists to date.

In 2025, Fragment A will focus on new releases by emerging artists, with added emphasis on distribution and the visual development of each work. We will also organize showcases to present these releases live.
